I am a two-time breast cancer survivor who knows how devastating it is to hear the words "you have cancer."
The StringsforaCURE Foundation is going to help those initially diagnosed with breast cancer. Our mission is to educate both men and women on how to navigate through a breast cancer diagnosis. Funding will also be provided for those in need.
Our goal is to have you reach your decisions based on knowledge and not fear.
I have been receiving guitar strings from local and regional musicians, turning them into custom pieces of jewelry.
My dream is to get all musicians, such as Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Chris Daughtry, Melissa Etheridge, Paul McCartney among many others, to recycle their strings to the foundation. We will be a Green Foundation with items being made in the U.S.A.
Net proceeds will be helping those initially diagnosed with breast cancer.
